What this item anchors

One of two photographs taken by Marina Oswald in late March or early April 1963 in the backyard of the Neely Street residence in Dallas. Depicts Lee Harvey Oswald holding the Carcano rifle, a pistol at his hip, and two socialist newspapers. Authenticity was disputed by Oswald at the time of arrest; the HSCA Photographic Evidence Panel (1978) concluded the photos were genuine and not composites.
