Description

What this item anchors

Paraffin casts taken of Lee Harvey Oswald's hands and right cheek late on November 22, 1963. Hand tests registered nitrates (consistent with firing a pistol or other sources); the cheek test was negative. The Warren Commission treated the results as inconclusive; the FBI noted the test is not specific to gunpowder residue.
