Abraham Zapruder filmed the motorcade from a concrete pergola on the north side of Elm Street using a Bell & Howell Zoomatic camera. The resulting film, covering frames 133 through 486 of the Dealey Plaza passage, was examined by the Warren Commission, the HSCA Photographic Evidence Panel, and the ARRB. Zapruder sold publication rights to Time-Life in 1963; the original film was declared an assassination record by the ARRB in 1997 and acquired by the federal government in 1999.
